Pedro Alphonso Burgess, 25, of Baycroft New Road, St Michael, was remanded to HMP Dodds when he appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
He is accused of indecently assaulting five school girls as they were on their way to or from school. Burgess was not required to plead to indecently assaulting a 16 year old schoolgirl and an 18 year old girl, both on February 7; indecently assaulting a 14 year old girl on February 15 and assaulting a 15 year old girl and a 16 year old girl on February 15.
The alleged offences were committed in the area of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s car park; the Fairchild Street Market; White Park Road and Leinster Road, all in St Michael.
