Graham Winston O'Connor Knights, of Free Hill, Black Rock, St Michael is due to appear in the District A Magistrates's Court today, charged with attempted murder after trying to force a woman to drink a poisonous substance.
Knights, 44, has been charged with trying to murder Lynette Hinds, 27, of St James, on September 3. She is currently a patient at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
