Anthony Frederick Francis of Marchfield Close, St Philip, has been charged in connection with the unnatural death of Laurette Diana Skeete of the same parish.
Francis, a 47 year old carpenter will appear in the District C Magistrate Court this morning charged with serious bodily harm.
Skeete's body was discovered at her home last Saturday by her daughter with a wire wrapped around her neck. A post mortem will be conducted on her body this week.
