Tragedy struck the compound of Preconco Limted located at Lears, St Micheal yesterday, when Terrance Clarke, 41, of Hothersal Turning, St Michael, died after a metal place which reinforced a precast concreate slab on which he was working snapped and flew into the air.
Also injured was Gregory Hill of Bibbys Lane, St Michael who was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with a broken collar bone among other injuries.
Clarke a former supervisor with concrete manufacturing company had been employed with the company since its inception in 1991.
