Rueben Dacosta Gilkes of Welchtown, St Peter was found hanging in a cell at District E Police Station in Speightstown on Monday night.
Public Relations Officer of the Royal Barbados Police Force Inspector David Welch, told the press this morning that Gilkes was charged with wounding on Monday night, he was placed in a celll around 8.05 pm, a check was made on him around 8.15 pm when he was found hanging by a piece of his shirt.
