Joseph Stephen is in a critical condition at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after falling into a gully at Highland, St Thomas yesterday.
The 58-year-old builder of Marshall Parkinson Road, Tudor Bridge, St Michael, was laying concrete blocks on house that is in the early stages of construction when part of it broke away sending him plunging into the gully.
His wife Jacqueline told Trakker News his skull was cracked, the tissues to his eyes were torn and his face severely injured.
“I told my husband don’t go into this job; there’s something about this job he still went into. I had a bad feeling about my husband working on that house, it was stress from the beginning,” Jacqueline said.
