Essequibo : Acting on information received, at about 5:30pm today the police conducted a search on a man at Vergenoegen, East Bank Essequibo, in whose possession was found an unlicensed .25 Beretta semi-automatic pistol with six matching rounds.
The man is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
