Bridgetown.
The police has arrested and charged Johanthan Jason Riveira, 30, of Second Avenue Vauxhall, Christ Church after marijuana was found in a barrel at the Bridgetown Port over the weekend.
Riveira, 30, was held on four counts last Saturday after ten pounds of cannabis were discovered by customs officers in a consignment of personal items.
Riverira went to the Port to clear the barrel which was inspected by customs officers who discovered the drug in three boxes of cereal.
He was charged with possession of an illegal drug, possession with intent to suppy, trafficking and importation.
Riveria is due to appear in the Bridgetown Maggistrate's Court today.
