Andrew Hunte, 39 of Allen View, St Thomas was remanded to HMP Dodds when he appeared in the District "D" Magistrates Court yesterday.
Hunte was charged with wounding and intent in connection with death of Malcolm Husbands of Welchman Hall, in the same parish last Saturday.
The charge is expected to be upgraded following a post-mortem on Husband's body tomorrow. Hunte is schedule to apperar before the court again on April 24.
