Victor Byer, of Windsor Terrace, St George, was remanded to Her Majesty's Prison Dodd by Acting Chief Magistrate Deborah Holder, in District A Magistrates' Court yesterday.
Byer is accused of handling cable stolen from the telecommunication company LIME between May 29 and June 21.
The 33 year old conductor was not required to plead to assisting in the retention,removal,disposal or realisation of the property worth $10,000 and belonging to LIME Barbados Ltd knowing that the property had been stolen.
He was remanded to prison until June 29.
