Essequibo : At about 6:30pm yesterday four men one of whom was armed with a shotgun and another with a handgun, held up Rudolph Ashby, of Aruka River, North West District (NWD) and robbed him of $4M at Baramani River, NWD.
Investigations have so far revealed that the 31 year old Rudolph Ashby was in his boat in the Baramani River, NWD, enroute to his residence, when the men who were in a boat steered it into his boat causing damage to same. The men then pointed their firearms at Ashby and robbed him of the cash and escaped.
Investigations are continuing.
