Georgetown : The police in a statement said, Donald Mc Kenzie, 24 years, of Sandy Place, Kitty, was walking along William Street, Kitty, when two men on a motor cycle drove up and the pillion rider discharged rounds at him, hitting Donald Mc Kenzie to his right hand and they escaped.
The shooting took place yesterday around 8:30a.m.
Donald Mc Kenzie has been admitted to hospital.
The two men and Donald Mc Kenzie are reported to have been involved in an argument previously in a beer garden.
Investigations are in progress.
