Corey Baptiste is a stable condition at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, after benig shot in the head at a football match on Saturday.
According to the police Baptiste 27, of Parish Land, Christ Church, was attending a five a side football match finals in Silver Hill around 9.30 p.m when gunshots were heard and he was injured.
Minister of Sports, Youth Affairs and Culture Stephen Lashley, the Member of Parliament for the areas who was present the event at the time of the shooting condemned the act.
