Man stabbed to death in linden by wife’s former lover

Georgetown: A triangle love affair ended deadly after a woman witnessed her reputed husband being stabbed to death by her former lover.

Dead is Claude DeJounge called ‘Sonno’ of South Amelia’s Mackenzie Linden.

The ex-lover, who has since gone on the run, has been identified as Corwyn Arthur called “Cross eye”. He is currently before the Courts facing two charges of carnal knowledge of a girl under the age of sixteen.

Police said they are making stringent efforts to quickly apprehend a male suspect known as “Cross Eye”of Central Amelia’s Ward, Linden who allegedly murdered 40-year-old Taxi driver early Thursday morning located at 1074 Cinderella City, Mackenzie, Linden.

The body which bore three suspected stab wounds to the neck, left shoulder and abdomen, is presently at the Wismar Hospital Mortuary, awaiting a post-mortem.

Investigations revealed that the suspect who reportedly once shared a relationship with the reputed wife of the deceased, would still visit her home and did so earlier last night but was confronted by the deceased. An argument ensued because “Cross eye” was smoking marijuana in the yard and the suspect left after the police were summoned.

About 00:10 hrs Claude DeJounge and his reputed wife were asleep when they were confronted by the suspect who gained entry via an open window and during another altercation the suspect who was armed with a knife allegedly inflicted the fatal injuries and fled the scene.
