Berbice : The police conducted a drug eradication operation at Morganson, Upper Berbice River.
A five-acre field of approximately 12,000 cannabis sativa (marijuana) plants, ranging in height from one foot to 12 feet, along with about 2,000 kilograms of dried marijuana were found and destroyed.
No arrest was made.
