Marijuana fields and camps destroyed by police in drug operation.

Georgetown-The police conducted a drug eradication operation at Calm Water, Kumani Creek, Upper Demerara River yesterday, during which four fields with approximately 60,000 marijuana plants, ranging between 2 feet to 9 feet in height, were found along with 80 kilograms of dried cannabis and nurseries with about 40,000 seedlings. Two camps were also found and were destroyed along with the marijuana.

Three men have been arrested and are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
