Port of Spain: The Media Association of Trinidad and Tobago is condemning the cyber attacks on a newspaper editor and reporter.
Express Editor Omatie Lyder and reporter Anna Ramdass has come under fire from e-mailers and bloggers for the stories the paper published on the Reshmi Ramnarine affair.
While Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has now conceded that her Government made a mistake in appointing Ramnarine to the top post of a security agency, MATT warns that one should never shoot the messenger.
Bissessar says the media did their job and she has no quarrel with them.
The threats are being investigated by the police.
