Mazaruni –The police have recovered a 16 gauge shotgun and one matching cartridge which were found in a boat at Jawalla Village, Upper Mazaruni, Kamarang.
Investigations revealed that three men, two of whom were armed with firearms, went to the home of Barrington Hunter of Jawalla Village, who raised and alarm and residents responded and gave chase behind the men who escaped. The firearm was later found by the residents and handed over to the police.
