Mazaruni : At around 2:00pm today, miner Aaron Hunter of Jawalla Village, Upper Mazaruni River, was shot to his left knee during an argument with another man at Jawalla Village.
The police say efforts are being made to bring him out to Georgetown for medical treatment.
The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody.
