West Bank Demerara : Mini bus BDD 1690, motor car PMM 1009 and motor cycle CF 290 were involved in an accident which resulted in the death of Carl Abrams Wright, 58 years, of 71 Bagotville West Bank Demerara.
Investigations have revealed that last evening Carl Wright was riding motor cycle CF 290 proceeding north along Stanley Town Public Road when as he was about to pass the parked mini bus BDD 1690, the driver Byron Sampson open the right side door, resulting in him colliding with same and falling in the path of and colliding with motor car PMM 1009 which was being driven in the opposite direction by Nicholas Lopes.
Carl Wright was picked up in an unconscious condition and taken to the West Demerara Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The drivers are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
