Minibus B145 skidded in an oil slick at Pinder's Bottom, St George this afternoon injuring all 35 passengers, five of them critically.
The majority of persons received injuries to their head,chest and abdomen including fractures, lacerations and truma, one passenger was sent to the surgery.
Five doctors from the Accident and Emergency Department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital led by Dr David Byer, along with emergency medical technicians, policemen, soldiers, firemen and members of the Department of Emergency Management rushed to the scene.
The soldiers set up a medical tent, where some of the wounded were treated before being taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by ambulance.
Communication Specialist at the QEH told Trakker News 24 passengers seven males and 17 females were taken to the Accident and Emergency Department of the hospital.
