Thieves stole several items from a villa at Portland being used by Minister of National Security Peter Bunting on Saturday night.
The thieves made off with several pieces of jewelry, an iPad, two cellular phones belonging to Bunting and a female member of his party.
According to a source, following the intervention of some residents of Portland the iPad and cellular phones were returned but the robbers held on to the jewelry. It is not yet clear if any money was exchanged for the return of the items.
