Port-of-Spain: Works and Transport Minister Jack Warner is warning citizens to read the fine-print before purchasing tickets with new low-cost regional airline Redjet, saying he believes many could be fooled into thinking that they are in fact getting great deals.
Minister Warner told reporters this morning that the Civil Aviation Authority will meet next week to determine the way forward on this matter and that he will be guided accordingly. But he says the airline seems to be offering deals that may not indeed by a juciy as it seems on the outside.
Redjet last week admitted that it did not have approval to begin flying to this country, although it has advertised the start-up of operations on May 8th.
The airline has asked the government to consider a speedy resolution to the issue.
