Mazaruni : The body of Hemchand Manramof Canal No. 1 Polder, West Bank Demerara, was recovered at about 11:00 am today in the Mazaruni River.
The 33 year old Manram was among a group of tourists on a Jet Boat in the Mazaruni River on Monday last when the vessel sank after it became entangled with some wire ropes.
Manram’s body was found about two miles from the site of the incident.
