Essequibo -At about 8:30 today the body of Police Constable 20880 Sheldon Brandford was found floating in the Essequibo River in the vicinity of the Bartica Market, and is at the Bartica Hospital mortuary awaiting a post mortem examination.
Sunday last Sheldon Brandford, who was stationed at Sherima Police Outpost, went to take a bath in the river and is suspected to have drowned.
