Dominica : Augustus Luke of Woodford Hill who went missing about three weeks ago, has been found dead in the heights of Calibishie.
Shirley Luke, sister-in-law of the missing man, told DNO that Luke’s body was found earlier today.
At the time of his disappearance, police reported that the 64-year-old Luke had left his home on Sunday August 12 at around 10:30 am for a bath at Woodford Hill Beach and had not returned.
Luke’s sister in law described him as an independent man who sometimes goes out for long periods of time. “I know he sometimes go out for a period of time but never that long,” she said. “Whenever he goes out, he always come back in time to let everyone know he is well.”
Unfortunately and to the chagrin of his grieving family, Luke did not make it back alive this time.
