Attorney General of Barbados Adriel Brathwaite, says the island will take a more humane approach when dealing with victims of human trafficking.
Speaking at the recent inaugural meeting of the national Task Force for the Prevention of Trafficking of Persons Brathwaite said:
" In Barbados, our response seems to put them on flights back out of the country, as opposed to seeing them as such as victims and dealing with them as such, by giving them all the attendant necessities to make them better of as a result of our intervention",
