More planes for Redjet

Bridgetown.

Redjet is adding more aircrafts to its fleet, according to chief excutive officer, Ian Burns, a third plane would be added in December and another in the first quarter of 2012.

Burns stated that the airline will add two more planes by the end of next year..

"These new aircraft will create 75 jobs in the first quarter of 2012 and  another 75 jobs in the latter part of the year', Burns said.

Redjet will launch six additional routes in the next six months, starting with Trinidad to Guyana on Monday.The other routes include Jamaica, Panama, St Martin and Antigua.

The expansion will cost the airline $6 million.
