Berbice : Investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident that occurred at abou t10 a.m.today on the No. 70 Village Public Road, Corentyne, Berbice, and which resulted in the death of motor cyclist Jewram Kbublallchand, 45 years, of No. 75 Village, Corentyne.
According to the police that the driver of a motor lorry attempted to overtake the motor cyclist who was hit by the tray of the lorry. Jewram Khublallchand was taken to the Skeldon Hospital where he succumbed while receiving medical treatment.
The driver of the motor lorry is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
