Canjie, Berbice : Sewdat Bipoo of Adelphi, Canje, Berbice, died after being hit down by a motorcyclist last night.
The 35 year old Bipoo was crossing the Public road at Canjie when Doodnauth Hardial was riding his motorcycle and struck down the pedestrian.
Bipoo was pronounced dead on arrival at the New Amsterdam Hospital while Hardiyal was admitted for medical treatment.
