MP absent from branch meeting

Bridgetown.

Oppostion Member of  Parliament  for St Thomas Cynthia Forde, was absent from meeting with  the executive of her branch  held by  Oppostion Leader Owen Athur on Tuesday night.

Forde's absence from the meeting raise speculation across the island that her head could be next on the proverbial chopping block after long standing MP for St James North Rawle Eastmond virtual dismissal from the party's frontline, began with Arthur meeting theexecutive of the branch in his absence.

Arthur told Trakker News last night that Tuesday's night was a meet and greet meeting. Asked why a meeting was held with Forde's branch executive in her absense, he replied:

"Since I have become Opposition Leader, she has not attended any meeting which I have convened or responded to any communication from me".

When contacted Forde told Trakker News she had no comment.
