Winners Development and American World Clinics today annnounced they are jointly developing a international medical centre in Barbados.
The $100 million project will be located on the 21.5 acre site of the abandon St Joseph Hospital at Aston Hall, St Peter,
The centre piece of medical centre, a surgical specialty will consist of 12 operating rooms will be designed to serve international travellers and patients from the Caribbean.
It will feature 60s inpatients beds, ICU capabilities, 12 operating rooms,an interventional lab and state of the art facilities for diagnostics and therapeutics.
Multi-disciplinary clinic space, including dental and concierge medicine, will be located adjacent to the hospital.
A team led by president and CEO of Winners Lee Ploszaj will be in Barbados from September 23 to 27 to meet with business and government leaders to move developmental and planning aspects of the project forward.
