Murder trial adjourned

Bridgetown.

The trial of Jamar De Wayne Bynoe, the teenager accused of murdering six women in the Campus Trendz Boutique fire has be postpone again.

This time it is because his attorney Marlon Gordon has expressed concerns about a recent demonstration. Bynoe, 19, was back in the No.2 Supreme Court before Justice Margaret Reifer, for what was supposed to be the first day of his trial.

Gordon while acknowledging that matter has been set for the trial, said that there were a number of issues he wanted to raise. Among them were recent public utterances.

Director of Public Prosecutions, Charles HusbandsQC, who appeared with Principal Crown Counsel Anthony Blackman, told the Court that his witnesses were outside { the court}. and he was ready to proceed.

After further submissions in the absence of waiting, potential jurors, the trial was adjourned until October 3,

Bynoe is accused of murdering, Kelly Ann Welch, Shanna Griffith, Nikkita Belgrave, Pearl Cornelius,Tiffany Harding and Tiffany Harding on September 3,2010.
