East Bank Demerara : Around 2:30AM today, 65 year old musician Rudy Bishop of Wallaba Road meadow Brook Gardens was robbed of $30,000. a quantity of jewellery and some personal documents by two men armed with handguns.
According to the police, Rudy Bishop had just arrived at a residence in the street, when he was confronted by the perpetrators who held him at gunpoint and took away the cash, jewellery and documents after which they escaped in a waiting motor car.
