Myrie will be back in Barbados next month

Bridgetown.

Shanique Myrie will  return to Barbados next month, that is when her case is schedulded to be heard before the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ).

The Trinidad based court yesterday announced yesterday that hearing will be be hearing the Myrie's case along with matters originating from Belize, Guyana and Barbados when it sits in  Barbados from the 16th to the 19th of April.

Myrie, accused Barbadian Immigration officials of conducting an unlawfully cavity search on her body, on March 14, 2012, at the Grantley Adams International Airport and denying her entry to the island.

This is the first ocassion the court will be sitting outside of Tirinadad, the itinerant nature of the CCJ allow it to sit in any country which is a signatory to the agreement establishing the court.
