NCF and BATMAN agree on subvention

Bridgetown.

The National Cultural Foundation (NCF) and the Barbados Assocation of Tents Managers (BATMAN), have reached an agreement over the subvention paid to tents for the Crop Over Festival.

Tents will receive a subvention of $7500, plus $750 for each calypsonian for each calypsonian who  reach the Pic O- de Crop and Party Monarch finals.

BATMAN had proposed $2000 be paid to the tents for each  finalist in the Pic O- de Crop final and Party Monarch competitions.

President of BATMAN  Sinclair Gittens, told Trakker News that given the present economic times, the deal reached between the two bodies is acceptable.
