Georgetown : The National Communications Network has instituted a ban on Vybz Kartel music on both radio and Television. According to the programme manager of the state owned radio and Television, Martin Goolsarran, the issue came up at a recent meeting where it was agreed there is increase vigilance in monitoring of music and the need for zero tolerance on vulgar ones.
Goolasarran pointed out that NCN has a long standing policy of not airing music that is of bad taste, promotes violence, offensive to any group, religion etc.
