The Welfare Department has been moved from the Old National Insurance Building in Fairchild Street, to the Weymouth Corporate Centre on Roebuck Street, Bridgetown.
Earlier this week, several employees at the Welfare Department threaten to strike if they were not relocated from the National Insurance Building, the worked complained that the building was plague with environmental problems.
Officials of the Ministry of Social Care led by Permanent Secretary Tennyson Springer, meet with the disgruntled workers and assured them that they would be relocated to new offices.
