Former chief executive officer of LIME, Alex McDonald is the new Barbados Private Sector Association, he was a elected at a meeting of that body earlier this week..
McDonald succeeds John Williams, the CEO of Cave Shepherd, who steps down from that post at the end of January, after serving for the past two and a half years.
The new president president-elect told the media he is looking forward to the challenge and is hoping to put credible proposals on the table to take the private sector association forward.
The Private Sector Association of Barbados is the umbrella body for the majority of businesses associations in Barbados.
