Georgetown : The Ministry of Public Infrastructure is currently introducing new technical standards and wiring regulations under the Electricity Sector Reform Act (ESRA) 1999. This will result in the adaptation of the National Electrical Code (NEC) developed by the National Fire Protection Association of the USA as the standard for wiring of facilities.
Prior to doing this and introducing the new standard and its associated regulations into effect, the Ministry is taking steps to introduce the NEC to key stakeholder, and as such will be conducing training in the essentials of the NEC.
This training session will beconducted by the NEPA between the period October 12-16 and October 19-23.
