New tourism strategy working

Bridgetown.

The arrival of 248 visitors from Scandinavia last is prove that the strategy Ministry of Tourism strategy to explore the British and European separately is working, says Minister of Tourism Richard Sealy.

Addressing  a reception for the maiden flight of TUI Nordic air charter service at the Grantley International Airport, Sealy said, the Government had made the right decision to separate the British and European markets and felt vindicated in doing so do due to the success it was now reaping.

"We had a single vice president for one staff responsible for the UK and Europe and we separated  the two because we realized that there was significant potential in Continental Europe and it could not just be an add on to uor main source market, the UK", he pointed out.
