Georgetown : The Ministry of Education will be announcing the results of the 2013 National Grade Six Examinations today in keeping with the Education Minister’s commitment that the results will be out earlier than normal.
A total of 17,000 students wrote the NGSA during the Easter Holidays.
Prior to sitting the exams, candidates would have already written the National Grades 2 and 4 assessments. The results will report on their overall performance at the three levels.
Education Minister Priya Manickchand explained that the Ministry is looking at measures to make the process faster; for instance the use of technology to mark the multiple choice papers which is being done across the world.
Minister Manickchand said that the Ministry has maintained a very high level of integrity of the exams and highlighted that there are going to be improved systems in the examinations division.
