Redjet will not add a fuel charge to the price of their tickets. Following LIAT's announcement yesterday that is would reintroduce a fuel charge on it's tickets from next Monday because jet fuel had increased by 26 per cent in the past months.
Chief Executive Officer of Redjet, Ian Burns told Trakker News that the Barbadian based airline absorb the cost of fuel.He added that the price of oil plummeted in the last ten days following a series of dramatic spikes in the Middle East so there was no reason to raise fares at this time.
"We were operating when oil was US$140 per barrel. Now it's down to US$84", Burns added.
