Georgetown– Circumstances surrounding the apparent execution of Friendship businessman Carlos Persaud, has investigators baffled as they try to piece together what led to the killing. So far, nothing is clear according to a key source close to the investigation. He told TrakkerNews this morning that nothing makes sense, since there seems to be no evidence of a robbery and from the time the contractor went missing to the discovery of his body yesterday, it appears that those responsible wanted to confuse or throw the police off track. The real motive he said , remains a mystery until some solid evidence surfaces. Persaud was found face down in the Le Repentir Cemetery with four gunshot wounds. He owns a number of trucks which are contracted to the power company. The dead man's Toyota Carina was found about 5 miles from where his body was discovered with the keys in the ignition and everything intact. He leaves to mourn his wife and seven year old daughter, as police continue their efforts to solve a mind boggling execution.
