No time for posturing says Stuart

Bridgetown.

Prime Minister Freundel Stuart, says he will not be drawn into the theatrical posturing to satisfy the desires of officious bystanders, who have grown accustomed to punitive responses to those who express a countrary opinion.

Speaking yesterday at the general meeting of the National Initiative for Service Excellence (NISE), Stuart said he appreciated the vital work NISE is doing in Barbados.

"NISE has forced us to reflect on the common thread that runs through adversarial politics, conflict in the home, at school, in the community, on the roads and even on the airwaves of Barbados. It is for this reason that I desist from engaging in acrimonious political exchange of my Government policies and programmes",said Stuart.
