Noise pollution could have a impact on the future of real estate in Barbados says Richard Edgehill, managing director of construction company Edgehill Assocates.
According to Edgehill noise pollution has raised its head on many occasions in several communities , there are nightclubs owners who are operating with no concern for their neighours.
"Noise pollution is no different to sewage which must be kept within confines of the property causing it, nightclubs operators must contain their noise with soundproofing and other means to limit their noise pollution", says Edgehill.
"The laws need strengthening, as this can have a serious effect on the value on property and the future of tourism", he added.
