Minister of Health Donville Inniss has denied that he provoked Oppostion Member of Parliament for Christ Church West, Dr William Duguid into using abusive language in Parliament last Tuesday.
Inniss comments came after Duguid publicly apologized for his behaviour during yesterday sitting of the House of Assembly.
"I have kept quiet until today, I commend Dr Duguid for attempting to apologize .The BLP have been unrelenting but my shoulders are broad and my conscience is clear. I am fully of the opinion that I did not provoke Dr Dugid", Inniss said.
"There has not been a single time that I have ever stood up to speak in the House and not been heckled by the Opposition. I ignore them, Dr Duguid is not a little child. He should have known better. My conscience is very clear that I was not the cause of his outburst", Inniss added.
