.In a fiery three hour reply to to the  Financial Statement and Budgetary Proposals  yesterday, Arthur a  former Minister of Finiance said that Sinckler's proposals comprised of bogus accounting and was a leap in the dark.

Arthur accused the Goverment of rhetoric on most issues. He stated  that Barbadians has been fed a diet of misinformation about the true state of the economy.

According to Arthur, the Budget offer little relief to Barbadians,  whose standard of living had plummeted.

"Our people are suffering, they can't make ends meet.Where there were once optimism, there is now despair, our sturdy resilient middleclass is now becoming the working poor", Arthur said.
