The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS) Jose Miquel Insula has sent a letler to Prime Minister Freundel Stuart and the Democratic Labour Party congratulating them winning ilast Thursday general elections.
Insula said the elections victory showed the confidence Barbadians have in the Government of Prime Minister Stuart.
He noted that the victory took place in a very competitive environment combined with an exemplary atmosphere of peace, freedom and justice as is the tradition in the country.
Insula offered Stuart the support of the OAS, and assured him the OAS stands ready to work with the Government of Barbados in advancing the development, objectives and priorities of the country.
