Office of the president press officer Kwame Mc Coy returns to court in February on assault charges.

Georgetown- Press officer at the office of the president Kwame Mc Coy  will return to court in February 2012 to answer assault charges. A charge which is said to be too mild for the offences he committed. According to attorney at law Basil Williams, representing Clifton Stewart, the man who was gun butted by Kwame in November, the charge should be attempted murder.“The charge ought to be attempt murder because it is not a traffic accident, something that happened inadvertently; it’s a deliberate act,” he said. There have been many incidents over the past year involving Mc Coy and persons who have come forward with information about his threatening behaviour .

Questions of whether he was above the law surfaced, since in the past he often manage to avoid prosecution until now.
